well...that's a toss up - either haagen dazs plain old chocolate (it's like silk) or ben & jerry's phish food...depends on my mood, lol

  so here i am , very new to blogging, but must admit i need to catch up with the rest of cyberworld...after all, we all need outlets for self-expression, right?  lol

so my friend, wackymom, joined 2 days ago...she's one of the dearest friends i have ever had...from high school (a long long time ago...lol) and we lost touch for about 22 years...by the way, i found her on classmates.com, so i highly recommend it!

the sucky part is that we live very far apart and won't see each other in person that much, but we will soon...maybe November...

we were in marching band together and had so much fun...football games on friday nights...band camp every summer...etc - she could alway make me laugh :)

well she's been married 20 years now & has two children...me - i am married 6 years tomorrow & just getting around to starting a family...late bloomer, huh? :)

anyway, i really missed her and am so happy to have her back in my life...i will be sure to do my part to never lose touch with her again...

if you have any good friends like this, hang on to them...make sure they know you love them!

What could we do to create a world with less violence?

my first thought is to always check yourself...if every person became more aware of their emotions and responses to things, a lot of violence would end immediately...if we stop responding without thinking first, we can make more peaceful decisions...don't let your emotions rule you!!  PEACE :)
